Pulse Safety

Safety Center

How to protect yourself, report concerns, and understand Pulse safety response timelines.

1. Report in-app

  • Open profile/message/photo menu and tap Report.
  • Pick a reason and include details so moderation can investigate quickly.
  • Emergency risk should be marked high severity in the report flow.

2. Block or mute instantly

  • Block: Stops all future contact and removes visibility between both accounts.
  • Mute: Keeps the match but silences notifications.
  • Blocking does not automatically file a report; submit both for abuse cases.

3. What happens after a report

  • Automated and human review may be used together.
  • Possible outcomes: no action, warning, content removal, restrictions, suspension, ban.
  • For high-risk safety reports, moderation prioritizes response and may preserve evidence.

4. Personal safety tips

  • Never share financial info, verification codes, or full home/work details with strangers.
  • For first meetings, choose public places and tell someone where you are going.
  • If anything feels wrong, end conversation and report.
Pulse cannot run criminal background checks on every user in every jurisdiction. Use caution and judgment in all interactions.
